Cluster Gears

Cluster gears are a type of gear system that uses two or more parallel shafts to drive two or more gears simultaneously. They are connected by a single input shaft and the output shafts are connected to the various other components of a machine, such as a machine tool, engine, or aircraft. The gears in a cluster gear system may be of various types and sizes, some of which may be fixed, others adjustable. They can be used to increase a machine’s power output and accuracy, as well as improve its efficiency and speed.
