Ground Gears

Gear sets are components within a transmission system that help speed up or slow down the output speed of a machine. The gear ratio of a transmission system is determined by the combination of gears used. Gears can be used to increase the output speed, reduce the output speed, or reverse direction. In a transmission system, two or more gears work together to transfer power from an input source to an output destination. Gears are usually made from durability materials such as bronze, steel, and aluminum.
