Lug butterfly valve

A lug butterfly valve has a cylindrical disk with a circular opening in the middle. The disk is mounted between two lugs and connected to a shaft. The end of the shaft is provided with a handle or lever to rotate the disk and control the flow of fluid through the valve. The disk can be rotated to an open or closed position. When the disk is in the open position, fluid can pass through the valve, and when the disk is in the closed position, the flow of fluid is blocked. The lugs help to secure and align the disk in the valve body and provide additional support to help prevent leakage.
