Afridev Deepwell Hand Pump by Bharat Enterprises

The Afridev Deepwell Hnadpump is a conventional lever action
hand pump. It is designed for heavy-duty use and for service
communities of upto 300 person.
The Afridev Deepwell Handpump is fully corrision resistant, easy
to install and service.
The Afridev Deepwell Handpump has open top cylinder
assembly, making the pump a true village level operation and
maintenance (VLOM) as such the piston & the foot valve
assemblies can be removed from the cylinder without dismantling
the riser main.That is the foot valve extractable with fishing tool.
PUMP HEAD (above ground pumping mechanism)
Consisting of head handle assembly and pedestal fully fabricated
in mild steel & duly hot dip galvanised . Available with different
mounting arrangements, such as normal three Leg Pedestal
suitable for minimum 100mm dia bore hole, Telescopic three Leg
Pedestal for 150mm dia bore hole & rectangular flange mounting
arrangements. Handle assembly would be provided with T-bar
for different handle settings as required for various installation
depths.
CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (Open Top) consisting of the uPVC body
with brass sleeve of 50 mm die I.D., Plastic valve components and
one nitrile rubber ‘U’ seal. Discharge 16ltrs/40 strokes in a
minute & in one hour water yield would be approx. 990 litres
(approx.).
CONNECTING ROD of 10mm dies M.S. hot dip galvanised in 3mtr length
with forged M.S. tool-less eye & hook connectors with rubber centraliser. For
corrosive water rods & connectors are available in stainless steel.
