Applications-
- The Combichem is eminently suitable for the chemical and petrochemical industries. Media which can be easily pumped are acids, caustics, nitrogen, ammonia, phosphates, sulphates, nitrates, chlorides, dyes, oils, solvents, alcohols, sulphides, light hydrocarbons, aromatics, condensates etc. Also suitable for textlile, food processing, pharmaceutical and paper & pulp industries.
Design-
- The 'Combichem' - CC/CCR, Is a universal end suction, horizontal, back pull out pump in accordance with DIN 24256/ISO 2858. Dynamically balanced closed impeller in radially split, top discharge volute provides smooth flow of liquid.
Features-
- Combichem process pumps are manufactured to meet customer specific requirements with optimum standardization. High degree of mutual changeability of components within the 31 models of Combichem, as well as the Combisystem pump family, requires minimum assembly lime at work & lower inventory of spares for the customer.
Seal arrangements-
- Soft packing arrangement with provision for flushing and sealing liquid connections. Also available is jacketed stuffmg box for high temperature applications. Generous seal cavity permits easy fitment of various configuration of mechanical seals in internal, external, cartridges types., with provision for API sealing plans.
- A watercooled stuffing box can be employed to handle liquids with temperatures ranging from 160°C to 200°C. If cooling water discharges are unacceptable to the environment, a Combitherm pump which can operate at temperatures up to 200°C is offered. The Combitherm pump has same dimensions and hydraulic performances as that of Combichem.
Bearing arrangements-
- Employs single piece bearing housing cum bearing bracket that ensures perfect alignment even after at-site maintenance.
- Strong over sized shaft with combination of deep grooved angular contact and cylindrical bearings to withstand radial & axial thrust and ensure continuous extended service life.
- Two different assemblies, each equipped with either grease or oil bath lubricating system. The resulting combinations are completely interchangeable.
