Product Description
A Counter is a device which stores and displays the number of times a particular event or process has occurred, often in relationship to a clock signal. It is a semiconductor device that is used for counting the number of times that a digital event has occurred. The counter's output is indexed by one LSB every time the counter is clocked. Our counters can count the number of products produced from the external pulses and can keep track of on and off timings and store the data in memory as per shift timings.

Variations of Counters
Preset Counters:
Preset counters count to a preset number and give an output. Most of these counters can count up to or down to the predetermined number programmed through the counters keypad. Scaling is also available on some units. The outputs usually can be held until reset or auto cycling. Typical applications include dispensing machines, coil winding machines, portable equipment, ticket machines, production machines, wire cutting, length measurement and numerical positioning.
Length Counters or Multiplying counters or Pre-scaling Counters:
This length measuring counter records length in feet and inches and includes two rubber wheels. These are used for measuring revolving / rotating objects such as winding applications to measure the length of wire/length of paper/length of yarn etc. The scaling factor is user programmable to get the length in required units directly.
Batch Counters:
In industry many times a batch contains a certain number of objects. Batch counters will automatically generate a relay output when a preset number of count has reached and a number of such batches are also counted and stored in counter memory.
Counter with Totaliser / Ratemeter:
These counters are best suited to production output quantities, length, distance, time or anything that can be numerically related to a given operation that is critical. The Counter detects input impulses for the rate per second, minute, hour or days.
Production counters:
Production counters are large numeric static counters that display current counts under operator count up and countdown control. Perfect for line productivity monitors, next serving counters, stock tracking, etc.
Sequential Counters:
A sequential counter is one whose output bits change state simultaneously, with no ripple. The only way we can build such a counter circuit from J-K flip-flops is to connect all the clock inputs together so that each and every flip-flop receives the exact same clock pulse at the exact same time.
Up Down counters:
A counter that can change state in either direction, under the control of an up/down selector input, is known as an up/down counter. When the selector is in the upstate, the counter increments its value. When the selector is in the down state, the counter decrements the count.
Vending Machine Counter:
This is a special application for drink vending machines which are mostly installed to count the number of cups of a drink dispensed as well as to control the amount of drink dispensed. Our company offers dispensing counters which count the number of cups dispense for multiple flavours and also controls the amount of drink is to be filled in the glass.
