coupling
pin & bush type flexible coupling has been used for connecting the motor to the disperser. The special feature of the coupling is that while it takes up misalignment very quickly, it allows the literal movement of the shaft assembly by more than 10 mm.
dispersing disc:
the design of the dispersing disc is such that it treats the pump in a gentle way also disperse the contamination. The power consumption is around 40 kwh. /ton.
bearings:
very heavy duty bearings which comprise two nos. Radial & one no. Thrust bearing are used. Bearing are lubricated by oil injection system for which separate injection pumps are used.
