Hearing Evaluation Services by Dhwani Aurica Private Limited

With the use of highly technical instruments, we are able to offer Hearing Evaluation services. These evaluation services are performed by expert doctors. We do evaluation very carefully without harming the patient.

At a hearing test appointment the quality and condition of your hearing will be tested by a qulaified Audiologist.

Inside our consultation room, our Audiologist will ask you some questions about your medical history and any symptoms you have noticed that prompted you to come for a hearing test. Whilst in the consultation room our Audiologist will also conduct an Isotopic examination (external examination of the ear, ear canal and ear drum) and impedance testing (which measures the function of the middle ear).

After here this you will move into the testing room to begin the hearing test. Inside this room the sound booth allows all outside noise to be minimized so that we can test your hearing thresholds in the quietest environment.

This speech in noise testing provides valuable insight into how your brain is able to process auditory information in challenging listening situations. Some additional tests such as an “acceptable noise level” test may be conducted by our Audiologist if appropriate. From here you will move back into the consultation room to conclude your appointment. During this final stage of the assessment our Audiologist will discuss with you the results of our audiogram and give you the opportunity to raise any concerns or questions you have. Any further steps needed will also be discussed with you in an obligation free enviroment.

At any time during your appointment you are able to ask questions and our Audiologist will be more than happy to answer them for you. We also encourage you to bring a Partner, Relative or close Friend with you to your appointment. At the conclusion of your appointment an audiological report is sent to our Doctor advising them of your results. If you would like a copy of the results as well, please let us know.
