Product Description

Refrigeration system is one kind of heat pump.

The heat is absorbed at one place by evaporation of refrigerant and it is transferred (pumped) at higher temperature at another place and rejected in air of water by air cooled or water cooled condenser.

For transferring 4 to 5 kw heat from low temperature to higher temperature, the power needed by compressors and fan or pump motor is only 1 to 1.5 kw depending upon the temperature difference between lower level and higher level (evaporative temperature & condensing temperature).

We can heat water in water cooled condenser in winter season up to 5 kw by using only 1 to 1.5 kw power for compressor and pump / fan power.

We can save 60 to 80% electricity by using heat pumps in place of electric water heaters in hotels and other places.
