Screw Pumps

We are engaged in providing a wide range of rotary positive displacement pumps, which is known as screw pumps. The high or low viscosity fluids along an axis can be transferred by one or more screw of these pumps. Even though progressive cavity pumps can be stated as single screw pumps two or more inter meshing screws are present in typical screw pumps, which rotate axially clock wise and counter clock wise. To carry a specific volume of fluid each screw thread is matched.

With a rotating screw or screws, screw pumps may include a stationary screw like gear pumps. From one thread to the next between the housing and the screw, fluid is transferred through successive contact. Moreover, geometric can differ. The pumping action required will be affected by the geometric of multiple or single screw and the drive speed. Since, a specific volume is transferred with every revolution the capacity of the screw pumps can be calculated on the basis of the following:

• The dimensions of the pump
• The dimensions of the surface of the screws
• The rotational speed of the rotor

The load is divided between various rotating screws, where multiple rotors are used. When two or more rotors are used, the casing acts as the stator. Timed or untimed rotors may be chosen based upon the needs of the application. With each cycle screw pumps provide a specific volume and helps in meeting application.
