Solar AC Water Pumping System Solar AC water pumping systems consists of the following components. The Solar Water Pumping System is a standalone solar photovoltaic module Based power system used for operating an AC Surface Centrifugal pump used for lifting water from open SUMP or a water reservoir for irrigation and drinking water purposes. The Solar Photovoltaic based solar water pumping system integrated with the regular AC motors through the Inverter. The system is designed with suitable Silicon crystalline solar panels CSi or Amorphous silicon panels ASi or Concentrated Photovoltaic CPV modules. The capacity depends upon requirement of the suction head and dynamic head. Components Of AC Water Pump System PV generator: It consists of an array of Solar Panels connected in series and parallel combination to achieve the desired voltage and current necessary to run the AC Pump. The power rating of the Solar Array will be suitable to the design of the pump. Holding structure: In Aluminium. Not corrosive and light for transportation. Sized suitable for air transport. Fixed on floor to concrete slabs. Control Panel: Inverter with Speed, Frequency and Current indicators for checking, Housed in outdoor board. Inverter: The DC power from the Solar Array is connected to a Inverter which converts the DC power to AC power required to drive the pump. Protections: The whole installation is protected by specific over voltage (lighting) and Under voltage connected to earth. Motor pump: Standard 3 phase AC centrifugal pump/Submersible Pump.
