These Triplex Plunger Pumps for Boiler Feed Water Applications are designed for boiler feed water temperatures up to 150º C Plunger RPM are kept low so as to have lower acceleration head at suction. Suction pressure should be kept higher than the vapour pressure of steam for operating temperature of feed water. Pumps are driven by pulley. Due to very high efficiency at low volumes and high pressures, these pumps have advantage over centrifugal pumps for small boilers and small size power plants.
