Rubber Lined Diaphragm Valves

Rubber-lined diaphragm valves are a type of industrial valve that is typically made from a range of materials including cast iron, cast steel and stainless steel. They are also occasionally made from exotic alloys for high temperature applications. They are designed for two-way manual or actuated flow control and feature a reinforced rubber diaphragm which effectively separates the valve’s body from the process fluids. The main advantage of a rubber-lined diaphragm valve is that it eliminates many of the sealing problems associated with conventional valves that contain seating surfaces, thus providing superior process isolation. They are most commonly used for applications like abrasive slurries, corrosive liquids and hazardous gases.
