Single Stage Air Compressors

Single stage air compressors are powered by a motor which is connected to a crankshaft. The crankshaft then spins a piston, which compresses air inside the chamber and sends it through a discharge outlet. The air is then used to power a variety of tools and machines. These air compressors are relatively inexpensive, but their main drawback is that they can only generate low levels of pressure. This makes them ideal for light duty applications such as inflating tires, but not suitable for more demanding tasks like running a jackhammer or large nail gun.
